Week 4

During the fourth week, the team conducted final testing and system packaging. They tested the system in different scenarios, such as normal door openings and unauthorized access attempts, making necessary adjustments to sensor sensitivity. Additionally, an enclosure was designed to protect the electronic circuit, ensuring durability, reliability, and proper functionality in real-world Figure 5 Figure 6

Week 3

  During the third week, the team focused on optimizing the system and enhancing its features. They worked on improving sensor response and minimizing errors. The system was tested in a real-world environment to assess its performance, and necessary code adjustments were made to ensure stability, reliability, and overall effectiveness of the project. Week 2

During the second week, the team worked on circuit assembly and programming. They connected the sensors to the control unit and programmed it to detect door openings and trigger an alert. Sensor accuracy was tested to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, a time delay or an override switch was implemented to reduce false alarms and improve system reliability. Figure 2

In the first week, the team focused on research and planning by defining the project’s requirements and objectives. Key tasks included selecting a magnetic sensor for detection, identifying a suitable control unit, determining an alarm sound as the alert method, and gathering necessary electronic components and tools to ensure successful implementation of the project. Figure 1
